Information on the small 2 bedroom cottage # 3 . (non-smoking; new for 2007)

Our small 2 bedroom cottage  is situated in a quiet little corner, built on rock with the beach to the side only 25 feet away, where you can bask in the sunshine or shade yourself under one of the huge cedar trees.. In front of the cottage you can fish from the rocks in early summer also sit in front of the campfire overlooking the bay.
Inside this cottage you have a bedroom with a double bed and the other with a large bunk bed, (double on bottom & single on top.) Ideal for two couples or a family of five.
All bed-linen, towels even beach towels are provided. (t-towels, dishcloths & washing up liquid also)
The bathroom has a bath /shower, a small basket of emergency toiletries and there is always a plentiful supply of hot water!
The kitchen  cupboards are made of natural oak, they are filled with all sorts of dishes, glasses, casseroles, cookware  gadgets etc ! We even have a fondue  & wok set  to give you a change from the bar-b-q !
A selection of herbs & spices are provided to make cooking away from home easier.
The salon has a large sofa, television, stereo, D.V.D/CD. card & crib-backgammon games and a bilingual library  (in english & french!) Satellite T.V. gives you a great bilingual choice.
The fireplace gives out a lot of heat in winter, but can be used on the cool summer nights, nothing more relaxing than watching the flames through the secure glass doors. Wood is stacked on the deck also a supply of kindling to start your fire.
The view from the cottage is superb, looking over the bay in the evening you may be lucky to see one of our glorious sunsets.
In August we have many falling stars from our Northern sky, in early summer & late fall you may see the sky painted green & blue with the northern lights.
You are welcome to explore our lake using the canoes, kayaks, row-boats or paddleboats, we have a selection of life jackets and a small security kit for those who venture out for the day. Mountain bikes for adults & children with helmets are available.

We also have 2 sailboats, a Sunfish and a Mistral and a "Mistral" windsurfer,they are available to those only who have had experience with these types of small crafts.

In winter the woods behind the cottages have 10km of cross-country ski trails and 3 km of individual snowshoe trails, there is a new trail on the island opposite, don't forget your camera for those incredible paroramic views when you reach the top, all trails are well marked so you cannot get lost, we can kit you up with skis, boots & poles ready to go, for those who like to try something different we have a selection of snowshoes, you can explore the lake & the islands if you are adventurous.
