This large 2 bedroom cottage was built in 1998. It is situated alone in a small private bay,it has a very private beach with the lake in front and the forest surrounding it, a private road into the cottage gives intimacy & privacy.(you cannot see your neighbours!)
You can watch ducks & herons from the deck and sometimes you may be lucky to see one of our bald headed eagles swoop over the bay. If you bring sunflower seeds you are guaranteed to see a wide array of small wild birds.

The kitchen is very well equipped, just like home; liquor  & beer glasses, fondue & wok sets, candles & wine glasses, even a popcorn maker ! The large table easily seats 6, you can look out over the lake while dining. The salon has a large patio sliding door directly leading to the  deck & gas bar-b-q. There is a good selection of english & french books to suit all needs. Card & crib games for the more social evenings !
There is a stereo cassette player as well as a television with satellite tv and D.V.D/CD. player which is progressive scan, and can play your mp3's and j-peg photo cd's. DVD films can be rented inDuparquet. A glass doored fireplace is is very comforting on those chilly winter nights, wood is provided, stacked just outside the cottage.
The master bedroom has a queen size bed and a small compact television, the other bedroom has a bunk bed; a double bed on the bottom and single on top.
The bathroom, quite large, is completely wheelchair accessible with a toilet and bath/shower support bars.
A hairdryer is at your disposal as well as a small assortment of emergency toiletries.
All bed-linen, towels and beach towels are provided.

An outside fireplace for those summer evenings, put your feet up and look out over the bay while watching the flames, you will find its very relaxing.

We can direct you to various other activities in Abitibi, a cruise on Lake Abitibi, a days guided tour of our region, snowmobile rentals in winter, or you can spend a relaxing vacation just around the cottage amusing yourself with the canoes, kayaks, pedalboats & rowboats that are at your disposal. In winter we have 10 km of grooved cross-country ski-trails at the back of the cottages and 3 km of individual snowshoe trails, we can provide you with skis, boots, even snowshoes, free of charge. We can let you use an ice-fishing hut, fully equipped, with a small wood stove and wooden fishing lines.(Québec fishing permit needed.)
